- Preheat the oven to 180°C bottom and top heat.
- Line the bottom of a springform pan with baking paper.
- Cream the margarine with the sugar, vanilla sugar.
- Mix the flour and baking powder. Add to the foamy mixture together with the coconut milk and knead into a firm dough.
- Pour the batter into the mould and smooth it out.
- Peel and core the apples and cut into small cubes.
- Spread the apples in the dough and press them lightly into the dough
- Bake the cake in the oven on the middle shelf for about 45 minutes.
- Test with chopsticks and bake a few minutes longer if necessary.
- Remove the cake from the oven, sprinkle with sugar and leave to cool.
